Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully as by using this Site & My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire’s Service you are bound by the following Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).


For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Us”, “Our” and “We” refers to My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire and “You”, “Yourself” and ““Your” refers to you, the Client, Customer, Visitor or Person using our website.


This agreement contains the Terms and Conditions regarding the Hiring of products from MBW’s website. These Terms & Conditions constitute a legal binding contract between you and My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire. By conducting a Hire on our website, you agree that you have read & accept our Terms & Conditions.

The terms of use apply to you whether you are browsing on our website or are a customer of MBW. You agree that you are hiring products and the ownership of all products remains with My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire at all times.

Our website allows Australian wide consumers to browse and hire our products. You must be 18 years or older to conduct a Hire. If you wish to Hire products & are not 18 years and older, a representative who is of legal age may submit the Hire on your behalf. By clicking on the “I Agree to the Terms & Conditions” located at checkout, you are confirming that you are 18 years or older and are authorised to use the chosen method of payment.

My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire will not be held liable if customers fail to read our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, do not access, use, or download from this website.


We reserve the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms and conditions. Any modifications made will be posted in the Terms & Conditions Page of our website and will be effective immediately. Please check these terms regularly prior to using our website to ensure you are aware of any changes.

Your ongoing use of our site states that you agree with any modified Terms & Conditions of My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire.


Bookings are made online via My Bestfriends Wardrobe’s Style & Hires website; All major credit card payments are accepted and can be made through Shopify's payment gateway. Pay pal & After pay is also available.

All bookings are required to be paid in full however MBW reserves the right to cancel your booking at any time should the item not be available for your selected hire period or if the order placed not meet the required time frame for delivery. Should this occur MBW will contact you and provide you with a full refund as your sole remedy.

MBW offers a standard 4-day hire and an 8-day hire period. For customers who are needing garment(s) for destination events extended hire periods are also available. MBW will calculate the cost accordingly to the customers required hire dates.

Please be advised that extended hires required for international destinations will be subject to a bond payment of 20% of the item(s) RRP, final costing will be at My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire’s discretion.

Bond Payments will be refunded in full, given that the item(s) hired is returned to MBW on time and in the same condition as when loaned to the customer. Please email to enquire about an extended hire period. 

How to Book

Please use the calendar located underneath each product to select your Size & Hire Period.

1) When booking your item(s) we request that you select the first day of your Hire period as the day you wish to receive your order or collect your order by. This is generally 1-2 days prior to your event.

2) The last day of your hire period will be the 4th or the 8th Day of the selected hire period and will be the day that your hired item(s) will be due for return.

The booking Calendar will display the item(s) availability.


For Broome & Melbourne client’s, fittings are by appointments only. To book in a fitting email:, MBW will liaise with customers a suitable time and address. We request that you bring a pair of shoes along to try our garments with. Fittings are made one on one; if you wish to bring a friend, please ensure you notify us 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Non-Local customers, as studio try on’s are unavailable to you, we offer a Try on via post for a small fee of $60 (This fee applies to all garments & is non-Refundable) If you would like to know more about our Try on vis post service please contact our team

Customers who choose to book a garment without requesting a Studio Try on or a Try on via post, please make your selection carefully as we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credit notes for incorrect sizing / fit of garment or a change of mind. If you are concerned on the size and fit of your garment. Please request garment measurements & photos.


Pick up

We have multiple pick-up’s locations throughout Australia. Every garment will have a Garment location at the top of the Garments description. For customers who are located in same location, a pickup option will be available to you at checkout. 

Those who wish to collect their Item(s) can do so no earlier than 24 hours prior to their event and must return their item(s) on the 4th or 8th day of the chosen hire period, unless specified by MBW. MBW will liaise with customers an appropriate pick up or return times along with the pickup & return location.


For customers who require their orders to be shipped, a shipping Fee of $20 will apply. This includes 2x Express Satchels one for you and one for the hired item(s) return. 

Tracking numbers will be available to customers 24- 48 hours prior to shipment. Customers can track their parcels via using Australia Post Tracking via their Website.

The shipping fee will cover any garments booked for the same Hire period. Multiple garments booked for different Hire Periods will incur an additional shipping cost for each subsequent Hire Period. As this is not an automatic process MBW will email you an invoice. This invoice must be paid in full before the customer's order can be shipped. If the invoice's remains unpaid the order will be cancelled. Provided that the cancellation is made within our 14 Day Cancellation policy the customer may be eligible for a refund for the amount paid or a store credit.

MBW ships all products via Australia Post Express with Signature on Delivery. When you place your order, please ensure to select your first day of hire as the day that you wish to receive your item(s) by, this is generally 1-2 days prior to your event. This will assist our team with ensure we ship your order at the earliest possible date required you location.

Estimated Delivery times to Areas throughout Australia as below:

  • CBD - 1-3 Days
  • Regional - 3-5 Days
  • Rural Towns - 5-7 Days

Please keep in mind that these delivery times frames are an estimate only and may change from time to time therefore it is best to check the changes on the Australian Post Website- and take these times into consideration when booking your garments.

As we are not a shipping provider, once an order has been dispatched from our studio’s it is up to the customer to track their parcels & keep up to date with their deliveries. We ask that all customers allow the full-time frame for the delivery to occur prior to assuming that the order will not arrive in time for their events & to contact Aus post directly, if there is an issue with the delivery. If any issues arise where Aus post cannot provide customers with the information they require please contact our team.

Delayed Shipping

As of November 2021, Australia post have advised that deliveries are taking longer than usual due to the impacts of COVID-19. Should your order be impacted by a delay, please contact us via email straight away:

We will do our best to help locate the item however any Delays caused by the Shipping provide is outside of our control. Please keep in mind that we do not offer refunds for order that are impacted by the Shipping Provided. If an order is delayed and does not arrive in time for the customer’s event the customer will be entitled to a full credit note for the value of the hire minus the shipping cost. The credit note will be supplied to the customer once the garment returns to our studio and the garment itself remains unworn & is in the same condition as loaned.

Shipping Address’s

MBW will ship all orders to the address provided by the customer upon check out. It is the customers responsibility to provide MBW with the correct shipping details. If an error has been made during the reservation and MBW is not notified prior to shipping the item(s), No refund will be provided for the hire.

If the hired item(s) is delayed in transit due to incorrect shipping address, late fees will occur daily until the item(s) is returned. If the item(s) is lost and deemed un-retrievable, the customer will be held accountable for the replacement cost of the item(s) hired, no less than the RRP of the Item(s) and in addition to the Hire price already paid.


Returns are to be made on the 4th or 8th day of your hire period by 4pm EST. Should a return for your hired item(s) fall on a Sunday or public holiday, you will be required to return your order on the next business day.

For customers who required their garments shipped. MBW will provide a return express satchel inside the customers satchel, and it is mandatory for customers to place the worn Item(s) back into the return satchel. MBW will not be held responsible for customers who misplace their return satchel.

If the return satchel does happen to go missing, it is the client’s responsibility to purchase another Express Satchel and notify MBW of the new tracking number prior to sending the garment. Failure to do so will result in late fees. If such event should occur, please contact MBW ASAP.

It is mandatory that customers return their hired Item(s) back to an Australia Post outlet where the item can be scanned in. By ensuring that the hired Item(s) are scanned in and traceable will eliminate the risk of Item(s) going missing or potentially damaged. Posting item(s) back into a street post box will be at the customer’s own risk.

If such event should occur and the item(s) get delayed in transit, damaged, lost or stolen the customer will be held accountable for hired item(s) late return (where late fees will apply), the cost of repair or the replacement cost for the garment.


You agree to return your hired item(s) to an Australia Postal Outlet by 3pm EST on the last day of your selected hire period using the return pre-paid satchel provided to you by us.

In the unlikely event that you return your hired item(s) late, you will incur a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) late fee for every day that the item(s) are late and until the hired item(s) have been returned or until the total amount of late fees incurred by you reaches 120% of the recommended retail value of the hired item(s), as indicated on our website.

Should any item(s) not be returned within 21 Days, the item(s) will be considered as a non-Return. If such event should occur, you will be charged a total of 200% of the recommend retail value of the item(s) as indicated on our website.

Should the item(s) returned late cause cancellation for other customers booking you will be required to pay the full hire of each cancelled booking on-top of any existing late return fee. Final charges will be determined by MBW.

All late return fees will be invoiced to customers separately. All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date, unless specified by MBW.

If any monies payable remains unpaid by the customer after 7 days from the invoice date, My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect the overdue amount from you including but not limited to taking legal action and/or using a third-party collection agency to pursue you for the collections including and without limitation attorney and collection fees.

My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire reserves the right to terminate your right to rent products from us at any time at our own discretion should you breach this agreement or for any other reason.


As a general rule we inspect all item(s) carefully before they are ready for dispatch however on the very occasionally there may be a fault that we didn't find. Once you receive your item(s) please ensure that you check it over carefully. If item(s) arrive and are found to be incorrect, wrongly described, damaged & deemed unwearable. It is the customers responsibility to report the matter to MBW within the first 3 hours of receiving the Item(s). 

If no report is made within 3 hours of receiving your item(s), it will be expected that the item(s) delivered to you is correct and is of satisfactory standard. Should any item(s) returned to us damaged and in an unwearable condition customer(s), will be held fully accountable for the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item(s)

MBW will hold no responsibility if you wish to still wear the item(s) after acknowledging that the item(s) are incorrect or was wrongly described, damaged & deemed unwearable. Any existing damages must be reported, and should further damages incur due to wearing the garment, you agree that you will pay for the full cost of repair/ replacement.

To be eligible for a full refund the item(s) that are found to be incorrect, wrongly described, damaged & deemed unwearable on arrival must be placed into the return satchel that we provide and must be handed over the counter at your nearest post office outlet, on the same day that the item(s) was received unless specified by MBW. The Item(s) must not be worn, the overall condition of the item(s) will be determined by MBW once the item(s) has been returned to our wardrobe.

Once the item(s) arrive to you, you agree to treat our products with the upmost of care like you would your own. You will not attempt to fit into a dress that is too small for you, you will not try and zip up a dress that is too tight and therefore damage the zip or the garment itself. You will not loan your hired item(s) to any friends or family members. You are not to attempt to remove any internal garment tags or straps or stick any sharp objects into our garment(s). You will not alter or attempt to clean any of our garment(s) without our consent.

You agree that you are solely responsible for any item(s) loaned to you and should the event of damages, loss or theft occur during your hire period, you agree to pay the cost of the repair or the cost of replacement for the hired item(s).

In the case the garment returns damaged and cannot be repaired or restored to a suitable condition, you will be charged up to, but not more than, 120% of the original RRP of the garment.

This fee will be on top of any amount that you have already paid for rental or postage, and the item will remain property to My Bestfriends Wardrobe regardless of the amount of damage.

In the case that you've lost or not returned an item, you will be liable for up to 200% of the RRP of the item.


MBW will take care of the dry cleaning once the garment(s) have been returned. The cost of dry cleaning is included in the hire price, however, if an item(s) is returned and found to be heavily soiled, therefore requiring extra dry cleaning, the customer will be required to pay any extra cost that occurs outside of the standard dry-cleaning charge. MBW will notify customers and invoice the extra cost separately.

You agree that you will not attempt to clean any hired garment(s) yourself. If you do clean or have a garment dry cleaned outside of our recommended dry cleaner and done so without our consent, you are liable for any damages caused.


As most of our garments are made from the finest quality fabrics here are a few recommendations for garment care.

  1. Avoid any spikey objects or course jewellery that may catch onto the fabric and cause the fabric to pull, tear or rip.
  2. Be cautious of what you sit on e.g.: abrasive or oily/ wet soiled surfaces
  3. If you’re a smoker or will be around smokers, be aware of burns from cigarettes that can result in burn holes in our garments.
  4. Always apply fake tan at least 48 hours prior to your event
  5. No alterations are to be made to our garments without first notifying and seeking approval from My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire. Please keep in mind that customers will be held responsible for any lasting damages incurred by alterations.

Normal wear and tears are considered: Minor stains removable from dry cleaning or stains that are internal and are not noticeable once worn, small rips or tears from seams which will not alter or change the garment(s) size or integrity if repaired, missing beads sequins and stuck zippers which can be replaced.

Damaged beyond repair are considered: Major stains which are unremovable from dry cleaning, larger rips and tears from the seam or through the fabric that could alter the size and integrity of the garment(s) if repaired, burn holes from cigarettes, coming into contact with abrasive surfaces which could cause pulls and fraying on the face of the fabric, or sticking sharp objects such as pins or jewellery into the fabric causing unrepairable holes.

If during your hire period the hired item(s) sustains damages that is classed as a normal wear and tear, you will report the damages directly to MBW and you agree that we shall charge you, and you will pay, for the cost of repairing the product.

If during your hire period the hired item(s) sustains damages beyond repair you will report these damages directly to MBW and you agree that we shall charge you, and you will pay, for the replacement cost up to the full recommended retail value of the product, as indicted on our website.

The condition of the damaged item(s) will be determined by My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire once the garment(s) are returned and will be additional to the hire cost already paid.

MBW will invoice the repair or replacement cost of the hired item(s) to customers separately. All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date, unless specified by MBW.

If any monies payable remains unpaid by the customer after 7 days from the invoice date, My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect the overdue amount from you including but not limited to taking legal action and/or using a third-party collection agency to pursue you for the collections including and without limitation attorney and collection fees.

My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire reserves the right to terminate your right to rent products from us at any time at our own discretion should you breach this agreement or for any other reason.


My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire offers a premium insurance cover of $30 at checkout for the customer to accept at their own discretion.

If you choose to pay this additional fee you will be covered for any damages, repairs, alterations, or additional cleaning required to the value of $130 Inc. GST

Any additional cost above $130 paid by My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire to rectify, will be at the client’s expense.  MBW will notify and invoice any additional charges through separately.

If the Item(s) is damaged beyond repair, stolen, or lost and the Insurance cover is selected & paid. You will be liable for an amount equivalent to 50% of the retail value of the Item(s)

If you do not elect to take this additional cover and the Item(s) is lost, damaged or stolen during your hire period, you will be liable for the replacement cost of the item(s), no less than the RRP, and in addition to the Hire price already paid.

My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style & Hire will not accept any third-party insurance policies and the customer acknowledges and accepts full liability and requirement for payment to MBW in a prompt manner should additional costs be incurred.


My Bestfriends Wardrobe DOES NOT provide refunds for the following

  • If the customer cancels their order less than our 14 Day Cancellation Period (See below)
  • For an incorrect choice of size/ fit of garment or a change of mind 
  • If the customer books and does not allow enough shipping time for their garment to arrive to their delivery location.
  • If the order is delayed by the Shipping Provider
  • If an order has been shipped and the customer's event gets cancelled before or after the delivery occurs.

If you need to cancel your order for any given reason please email us at We do not provide refunds once a booking is within our system unless your order is booked more than 14 Days leading up to the start of your hire period. However, you will be entitled to a credit note for the full amount paid. If your garment has already been shipped, you will not be entitled to a credit note.

Customers who wish to cancel their bookings for a refund can do so, however; cancellations must be made 14 Days prior to the start of their selected hire period. MBW will issue the customer a refund or a credit note for the full value of the hire payment made. Refunds will be issued back to the customer’s original payment method and credit notes will be valid for 6 months from the original hire date.

Any cancellations made past the 14 Day period will be entitled to a credit note only. Credit notes will be valid for 6 months from the original hire date. Should you wish to swap an item once your hire payment has been made, you can do so up until 7 Days prior to your hire date, pending availability.

Any bookings made during promotional, or sale periods are not eligible for cancellation, credit, or refunds. Bookings where the item is already in transit are not eligible for cancellation, credits, or refunds.

Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemic restrictions, boarder closures (ie COVID-19), political unrest, or social unrest will remain subject to the standard cancellation terms, however where a credit note is applicable, the validity of the credit note will be extended to 12 months from the time of the original booking. 


MBW now offers a chance for Client(s) to Hire Pre-Ordered Garments that are purchased months in advanced. Full payment will be required up front to hold the Garment(s) for your selected date. Should the Garment(s) not arrive due to manufacture or delays in transit, MBW will notify the client(s) no later than 48 hours prior to their event.

Client(s) who wish to swap their Pre-Ordered Garment(s) for another can do so given that the garment selected is available for their event dates and the item is at equal or lesser value than the original booked Pre-Order Garment(s) hire cost.

Should the Client(s) not wish to swap their pre-ordered garment for another garment a store credit or full refund will be offered. Please be advised that Refunds will only be issued should the item(s) not arrive in time for the customers event date. NO REFUNDS/ EXCHANGES OR CREDITS will be offered if the client changes their mind, or wish to cancel their order outside of our 21 Day Cancellation Policy (Section 12)


Out with the Old in with the New! From time-to-time MBW will hold end of Season Sales on Ex-Rental Garments.  This allows us to replenish our collection with gorgeous New Season trends & styles, just for our customers. The sales will be advertised on our social media accounts, Facebook Sale Groups and weekly newsletters and can be purchased directly from our website.

 As general Terms & Conditions of purchasing from our Ex- Rentals collection:

Ex- rental garment(s) will be advertised for sale; however, garment(s) will remain available for hire until the garment(s) are sold. Please check the availability of the garment(s) before purchasing. If the item(s) are in stock and there are no future bookings made on the garment(s). MBW will ship the garment no later than 48hrs from the initial time of purchase, unless specified urgency from the customer is attained.

MBW will disclose as much detail as possible when advertising on our website. Prior to the sale or interest in purchasing item(s), it will be the customers responsibility to contact MBW if they wish to attain a more current condition report on the garment(s) they wish to purchase. MBW will send the customers photos, live footage if requested and will describe the garment(s) condition to the best of their ability.

Ex-Rental Stock will be sold to you at a heavily discounted price, a price that may be set or negotiated between you & MBW. The final price for the Sale of all garments will be at MBW discretion.

We do not offer credit notes, exchanges, or refunds on any discounted product(s), including sale product(s) or product(s) discounted through marketing and promotions. All Ex Rental Sales are final. Please ensure you make your selection carefully as any deposits or prepayments made on your purchase will be un-refundable.

Prior to commencing purchase: You acknowledge and accept MBW’s Terms & Conditions for Ex-rental Sales. You agree that all descriptions and photo evidence provided to you by MBW has been a true account of the item(s) condition for sale.


At My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to maximize the services that we provide to you. My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire respects the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you and adheres to the Australian Privacy Principles. Please read our separate Privacy Policy carefully.

You may change your details at any time by advising us in writing via email. All information we receive from our customers is protected by our secure servers. My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire’s secure server software encrypts all customer information before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all the customer data My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire collects is secured against unauthorised use or access. Credit card information is not stored by us on our servers.


My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire may be required, in certain circumstances, to disclose information in good faith and where My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire is required to do so in the following circumstances: by law or by any court; to enforce the terms of any of our customer agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers or third parties.


If you are in the business of creating similar documents, goods, or services for the purpose of providing them for a fee to users, whether they be business users or domestic users, then you are a competitor of My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire. My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire expressly excludes and does not permit you to use or access our website, to download any documents or information from its website or obtain any such documents or information through a third party. If you breach this term, then My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire will hold you fully responsible for any loss that we may sustain and further hold you accountable for all profits that you might make from such un-permitted and improper use. My Bestfriends Wardrobe Style& Hire reserves the right to exclude and deny any person access to our website, services, or information in our sole discretion.
